Julia completed

Okay, done at last.

Sunday I will be donating a commissioned portrait valued at $6,000 to a silent auction to help raise funds for Chyil Inc. Chyil is a foundation committed to transforming the lives of domestic violence survivors. I will be using this painting as a sample.

My sister just got on to me for not having this on my website, so, I decided to show it here because I'm having trouble accessing my site at this time.

This is my second portrait drawing, the first one isn't quite this good but it wasn't bad for a first.

This piece won second place in an international art contest.

Well, as you can see I am struggling with this painting. I won't be happy with it until it's perfect. I'll get there and I'm confident that it will look great.

I worked on it further today. the chin isn't quite right yet but it's closer.

Okay, this is after a couple more hours. I did a bit of tweaking and I'll be doing some more still. I didn't put any detail in the eyes yet because I want to be sure that everything is just right first.
