About Me

My photo
I have loved drawing for as long as I can remember. When I was about four, my sister showed me how to draw stick figures and cats out of circles and triangles and I can recall how it thrilled me. In elementary school I spent more time drawing than studying (not such a good thing). The teachers often asked me to draw posters for their classes and I also won several art contests as a child. Unfortunately, I had many struggles growing up and as a result, my art skills were eventually forgotten. Then came children and family commitments and, until I met Larry in 1999, art was the last thing on my mind. As a result of his insistence, I made the decision to become serious as an artist. It's been an exciting journey and my only regret is not starting sooner!

Thank you so much Toni, the painting of Paige is so beautiful, I had it sitting in our living room, and when the sun hit it, it was amazing! You are so talented, I really love it and so does she! Thanks so much, julie

Thank You Letter From Brenda Wood

Antonia,

What can I say? Words cannot express my gratitude for such an awesome portrait of my mom. It is truly one of the most magnificent gifts I have ever received! Your artistry and talent captured her essence, even though you didn’t know her. Every little detail you got just right. I don’t know how you did it. And though I knew a portrait would be presented to me, I was overwhelmed with emotion upon seeing my mom’s face when the painting was unveiled. Oh, what a moment! I will treasure that forever. Thank you for the time, and thought, and skill and energy you put into painting the portrait of her. I can’t imagine what all it took for produce such great work, but please know I am eternally grateful. The painting is now hanging in our living room above the piano which my mom played so masterfully. I so wish you could have known her. She was an artist, too, making beautiful music wherever she went.

Again, thank you for such a priceless gift and tribute to my mother.

At every opportunity I will brag about your work, and I hope you get lots of customers.

It was a pleasure meeting you and your husband. You two are a delight! May God continue to bless you and your family.

With great appreciation,

This is a painting of a thirteen year old, Paige, at her Bat Mitzvah. We decided to leave her braces on which I feel was a good decision.

Lolly

I try, in all of my work, to create the feeling that the image is fleeting, as if you are looking at a split second in time. I think this drawing is an excellent example of that.

Kylia

This piece won second place in an international art contest. It's one of my first portrait drawings.
